Inheriting the lead when Dakotah Knuckles tangled with a slower car on lap 40, Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, Ga., led the rest of Saturday's 53-lap Schaeffer's Southern Nationals finale at Tazewell Speedway to earn $10,053 and his third tour victory of the season. Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., who had a flat tire on the 18th lap, clinched the tour title with his 11th-place finish.
