What won the race: Second-starting Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., led all 40 laps to win Friday's $7,553 inaugural Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series visit to Buckshot Speedway. Joiner, a two-time Southern All Star winner last season at Buckshot, was largely unchallenged throughout the race as he collected his first career tour victory in staying a perfect 3-for-3 at the 3/8-mile oval.

You know this is our third time coming here and our third win, so I’m liking Buckshot pretty good these days,” Joiner said. “This is our first time coming here with the Longhorn car, so I didn’t really know exactly how to leave the shop and kinda put it close to a baseline with a little tweak from that I’ve learned from coming here in the Capital (Race Car).”
