What won the race: Taking command from Tyler Peterson on a late-race restart, fourth-starting Scott Ward narrowly defeated Jeff Provinzino to win Sunday's Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series-sanctioned 12th annual Marilyn Olson Memorial at Casino Speedway. Ward edged Provinzino to the finish line by 0.138 of a second to capture a $3,000 payday at his home track.

Quotable: “I gave Tyler (Peterson) room, I didn’t want to do what I did to Cole (Searing), when I came in (to the corner) too hot,” Ward said as he was overcome with emotion. “I was hoping I gave Peterson enough room so he could go alongside me and I think I did.
