What won the race: Second-starting Shane Clanton of Zebulon, Ga., dominated Saturday's 50-lap July Spectacular at Thunderhill Raceway Park, capturing a $10,000 payday en route to his 14th career Coltman Farms Southern All Star Series victory. His first victory on the series since May 14, 2016, at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway also marked his first aboard his self-owned Capital house car in his debut at Thunderhill.

Josh Putnam briefly challenged Breazeale for second before settling for third. ... Series points leader Dalton Cook rebounded from an 18th-place finish in Friday's opener to take fourth. ... Oakley Johns improved five spots and placed seventh. ... Pole-starting Kendall Franklin, son of past series champ Billy Franklin, traded third with Putnam in the early going before slipping to eighth. ... Ethan Dotson slowed from 10th to draw the race's second caution on lap 29, collecting Chase Oliver who spun to avoid. Dotson did not return, while Oliver rounded out the top 10. ...
