What won the race: Winning his second race of the weekend, Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., led all 35 laps from the pole to win Sunday's $20,000 Billy Winn Classic in dominating fashion at Bedford Speedway. McCreadie beat Bobby Pierce to the checkers by 1.895 seconds for his 35th career World of Outlaws Real American Late Model Series victory, tying Pierce for eighth on the tour's all-time wins list.
Quotable: “It’s amazing for (the) Briggs Transport (team), obviously Boom (Briggs) is here with us, he put his car up to help me the rest of the weekend. He just keeps me focused on what we need to do to get better,” McCreadie said. “All these guys, it’s truly a family-team effort. I’ve known Boom a long time, he always said I would drive for him someday and right now we’re looking pretty cool.”

Pierce trailed McCreadie the entire way, cutting his advantage as low as 0.371 of a second on the 10th lap before fading late. ... Dustin Sorensen started and finished third for his best 2025 finish. ... Ryan Gustin grabbed fourth from Brian Shirley on the lap-18 restart, then held off Nick Hoffman in the final laps. Hoffman slipped by Shirley for fifth on lap 19. ... Matt Sponaugle (10th) recorded his best WoO finish. ... Cody Overton rebounded to finish 12th after slamming the turn-one wall in the first heat race. ... Tanner English, driving a No. 31 Bernheisel Racing Lazer Chassis after engine issues in his usual No. 96 Coltman Farms Longhorn, slowed from 18th with a flat right rear tire to trigger the race's only caution. English finished a lap down in 21st. ... Travis Stickley retired to draw a lap-26 caution. ... The event honored Billy Winn, one of the top dirt racers of the 1930s and winner of the first race at Bedford Speedway in '36. Winn, inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2003, made eight career Indianapolis 500 starts. ... The feature lasted 18 minutes with 23 starters running at the finish.
On the move: Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., started 12th and finished eighth.
