Winnjer Tyler Erb (1) and runner-up Jason Feger (25) battle at Duck River.
What won the race: Diving under polesitter Mark Whitener in turn three on the seventh lap, Tyler Erb of New Waverly, Texas, led the rest of Sunday's 30-lap DIRTcar Summer Nationals debut at Duck River Raceway Park for a $5,000 victory. Grabbing his sixth tour victory of 2025, Erb took the checkers 1.093 seconds ahead of Jason Feger, who narrowly locked up the $10,000 Week 4 points title.
Quotable: "This is probably the coolest place I've ever been to in Tennessee. Most of them suck honestly, and this is awesome," Erb said. "It had a cushion and that end over there was super racy. ... That was an awesome racetrack. Not many times do you get to come down South and run a cushion like that."
Key notes: Tyler Erb, who won his 21st series event, made his first start at Duck River since a runner-up finish in 2017's Deep Fried 75. ... Erb's team changed transmissions and radiators between time trials and heat races and also made an overnight stop at Tyler Nicely's shop in Owensboro, Ky., to changed engines between Haubstadt, Ind., and Middle Tennessee ... Erb wasn't happy in victory lane that points computations didn't give him the Week 4 title over Feger, spicing comments with four-letter words. A track official took the microphone moments later, apologizing for the language at the "family-friendly" track, telling fans that "please be assured, discussions will be held with DIRTcar officials concerning that lack of judgment." ... Polesitter Mark Whitener led the first six laps at Duck River but faded to sixth to lose the Week 4 points lead he carried into Duck River. ... Third-place finisher Sam Seawright briefly took second from Jason Feger in the final laps, but Feger fought back to regain the spot. ... Three cautions slowed the 30-lapper, the first on the sixth lap when Tyler Millwood spun in turn two after Christian Hanger checked up. ... Kane Newby spun on a lap-six restart. ... On the 23rd lap, ninth-running Dillon McCowan spun between turns one and two. ... The feature rolled at 9:50 p.m. and concluded at 10:07 p.m. ... The tour's perfect attendance for drivers was cut to do 10 with Jackson Hise a no-show after engine woes a night earlier.
On the move: Josh Putnam of Florence, Ala., started 12th and finished fourth.
Winner's sponsors: Erb’s winning Best Performance Motorsports Rocket Chassis is powered by a Clements Racing Engine and carries sponsorship from Langenfelder Mechanical Contractors, Bulk Material Lift, First Class Septic, Roberts Bee Company, Anthony’s Pizza, JRR Trucking, Base Racing Fuel, Base Oil, Sani-Weld, Inc., Keyser Manufacturing, Integra Racing Shocks, Go Lithium Batteries, Midwest Sheet Metal, Terbo Threads and KBC Graphix.

Jason Feger (1,337); 2. Tyler Erb (1,278); 3. Dillon McCowan (1,069); 4. Mark Whitener (1,042); 5. Trey Mills (931).
