Gustin beat fellow front-row starter Allen Tippen to the checkered flag by 3.026 seconds while Ray Moore was third.
Quotable: “I didn’t think anybody had won the Late Model and the modified before, but that’s awesome and pretty cool that we were able to do that tonight,” said Gustin, the first to accomplish the feat. “That feels really good. Luck was on our side for sure with everything that went on tonight and we will take it.”
