Notes: The 2019 Imperial Tire Silver Dollar Nationals marks the ninth running of the crown jewel event that began in 2011. The event is sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series. … The event’s purse has grown from $25,000-to-win during the inaugural event, to $53,000-to-win beginning in 2017. Saturday’s main event purse is $171,650, an increase of $6,375 from last season. … This year’s three-day weekend includes Thursday’s Lucas Oil Series-sanctioned Go 50. Thursday’s action consists of a complete program, including hot laps, time trials, heat races and a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event. … The unique format for the two-day finale includes hot laps and two rounds of heat races for each competitor on Friday, and consolation races and an 80-lap, $53,000-to-win main event on Saturday. Lineups for the two rounds of heats are set by draws, and combined passing points from the prelims determine the 18 transfers to Saturday night’s 80-lap finale. … Including Thursday’s complete program, the three-day event has a total purse of more than $300,000. … A complete $5,300-to-win program for the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series, along with unsanctioned modifieds, is on Friday’s undercard, while the USMTS Modified series joins the Friday-Saturday card as they will race for $5,300 top prize in Saturday’s finale. … Saturday’s card also includes the $3,000-to-win S&S Showdown for Late Model non-qualifiers. The winner has the option of starting at the tail of the 80-lap main event. … Six drivers have won the race, with Jonathan Davenport (’16, ’18) of Blairsville, Ga., and Hall of Famer Scott Bloomquist (’14-’15) of Mooresburg, Tenn., the only repeat winners. … Don O'Neal of Martinsville, Ind., won the inaugural event driving a Moring Motorsports-backed ride in 2011. … Davenport swept both features last season, winning in a photo-finish over Bloomquist on Thursday and then overtaking a slowing Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., with two laps to go to win Saturday’s finale.
