HAGERSTOWN, Md. (Sept. 13) — No matter the format of the Hub-City races at Hagerstown Speedway, Jeremy Miller of Gettysburg, Pa., has adjusted with no problems. With the Independent Racing Series sanctioning the event for the first time, Miller cruised all 50 laps in the feature event for a $7,000 payday and his fourth Hub-City victory. "To win this race four times in the Buckler Motorsports car, that’s pretty awesome," Miller said. | Slideshow

Miller, making only his second appearance at Hagerstown in 2008, started outside the front row and outjumped polesitter Jamie Lathroum of Mechanicsville, Md., at the outset to blast into the lead. He was ahead by two seconds after just four laps and lapping slower cars by lap 10. The race's only caution on lap 27 bunched the field, but Miller kept runner-up Jason Covert of York Haven, Pa., in check the rest of the way for the victory. Former race winner D.J. Myers of Greencastle, Pa., took third from Lathroum on the final lap and Jack Pencil of Bedford, Pa., was fifth. Devin Friese came from the tail to finish sixth.
