KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Sept. 27) — Always in contention at Lakeside Speedway, Terry Phillips of Springfield, Mo., raced to his fourth victory in Lakeside's Late Model Shootout over the past three years as he earned $5,000 for capturing the second night of the weekend doubleheader. Phillips, who was runner-up to Denny Woodworth in the opener and swept both races in 2006, rallied from the 16th starting spot and wrestled the lead from Alan Vaughn of Belton, Mo., for the victory in a race co-sanctioned by the World Dirt Racing League and O'Reilly Midwest LateModel Racing Association. | Woodworth wins opener | Slideshow
