Race details: The $10,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season opener is the first of three All-Tech events during the Weiland Winternationals.

Who's Hot: Hudson O’Neal of Martinsville, Ind., the 2023 Lucas Oil champ who scored a victory and two third-place finishes in the previous week’s Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla. O’Neal has four 2026 victories.
Who's Not: Reigning Lucas Oil champ Devin Moran of Dresden, Ohio, who, after a third-place run last week at Volusia in his first outing of 2026, ran seventh and eighth in two more races before failing to make the starting lineup for back-to-back Volusia events and skipping the finale.

Around the Pits: The Lucas Oil Series has completed 10 previous events at All-Tech going back to 2020 with Ricky Thornton Jr. of Chandler, Ariz. (four victories) the only multiple-race winner. … Thornton won twice last season and once apiece in 2023 and ’24. … Garrett Alberson of Las Cruces, N.M., owns All-Tech’s Super Late Model track record (16.430 seconds) set last January. … Last season’s 50-lap finale at All-Tech had six lead changes among four drivers with Devin Moran grabbing the $15,000 victory.
Up next: Friday’s Lucas Oil action continues at All-Tech for a $12,000-to-win event while the World of Outlaws Late Model Series makes its debut at Hendry County Motorsports Park in Clewiston, Fla., with a $12,000-to-win program.

This Date in Dirt Late Model History: On Feb. 19, 1972, Iowa Hall of Famer Ed Sanger notched his second and final career Georgia-Florida Speedweeks victory at Drive-In Raceway in Deland, Fla., in the National Dirt Track Classic.
