Race details: The Wieland Winternationals on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series wraps up with the $25,000-to-win finale after Friday’s rainout.

Around the Pits: Friday’s rainout marked the fifth weather-halted Speedweeks race after one Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series event at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Ga., and two at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway were scrapped along with a Southern All Stars event at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga. … With his fourth Speedweeks victory on Thursday, Hudson O’Neal has bagged four miniseries events three times in four seasons. The last driver to pull off the feat: Brandon Sheppard (2019-2022). … Last season’s Speedweeks winners looking for a 2026 win: Tyler Bruening, Ryan Gustin, Garrett Alberson, Ricky Thornton Jr., Jonathan Davenport, Casey Roberts and Cody Overton.

Next week: Four Lucas Oil Series events at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Ga., on March 4-7.

This Date in Dirt Late Model History: On Feb. 28, 2004, Bobby Hogge IV of Salinas, Calif., earned $1,500 in the CarQuest Invitational at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway. Billy Griffin led 11 of the first 15 laps before mechanical woes forced him out and leader Phil Barrow retired on the ninth lap with a flat tire.

Speedweeks trivia: What driver, among the winningest in Georgia-Speedweeks history, made his last career Speedweeks start in the division in the C.J Rayburn house car? (Answer in Wednesday's almanac; Friday's answer: Frank Heckenast Jr. won his lone career Speedweeks event in 2015 at Ocala with his first national touring victory coming a few months after taking WoO’s Rookie of the Year honors.)
