Weiss grabs first NLRA victory at hometown track

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (June 11) — Polesitter and hometown driver Ricky Weiss raced to his first career Late Model victory in a Thursday night Northern LateModel Racing Association special at Red River Co-op Speedway. The 20-year-old Weiss started on the pole and outran fellow front-row starter Cody Skytland of Edmore, N.D. Troy Schill of Grand Forks, N.D., was third followed by hometown driver Tom Balcaen and Kevin Sexton of Lorette, Manitoba. | Slideshow
