Michael stretches SRRS lead at Checkered Flag

HOHENWALD, Tenn. (Oct. 6) — Southern Regional Racing Series points leader Byron Michael of Florence, Ala., continued his hot streak with a $5,000 victory at Checkered Flag Speedway. Michael led every lap for his fourth victory in the last six SRRS events.
Billy Moyer of Batesville, Ark., finished second in a feature slowed by a single caution flag while David Gentry of Lewisburg, Tenn., was third. Billy Mayo of Cleveland, Tenn., and Ray Cook of Brasstown, N.C., rounded out the top five.
