Greenville victory boosts Slay's points lead
GREENVILLE, Miss. (Oct. 3) — Scott Slay of Clinton, Miss., boosted his series points Saturday with a victory at Greenville Speedway, earning $2,500 on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge. Clay Fisher of Dewitt, Ark., was second followed by Steve Bryan of Collinsville, Miss., Mickey Trosclair of Luling, La., and hometown driver Mark Tice, who finished a lap down.
