Bentley leads 40 laps at Modoc for Fastrak victory
MODOC, S.C. (May 7) — Third-starting rookie Blake Bentley of Duncan, S.C., roared into the lead on the first lap at Modoc Speedway and dominated the rest of the Old Man’s Garage Fastrak Southeast Region victory for a $2,000 payday.
Polesitter Albert Cosnahan of Metter, Ga., challenged Bentley a few times early in the 40-lapper, but by the 10th lap, Bentley pulled away. Cosnahan held on to second, just ahead of David Smith of Inman, S.C., while Royce Bray of Hull, Ga., and John Henderson of Aiken, S.C., rounded out the top five.
