Breazeale rules Hattiesburg for MSSCS victory

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (July 16) — Series points leader David Breazeale of Four Corners, Miss., notched his series-leading third victory Friday at Hattiesburg Speedway on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series. Breazeale led flag-to-flag to earn $2,000 for his 18th career series victory.
David Gentry of Lewisburg, Tenn., involved in an early scrape with Chad Thrash, finished second with Jeremy Broadus of Biloxi, Miss., in third. Thrash, of Meridian, Miss., rallied after his early pit stop to finish fourth ahead of Steve Bryan of Collinsville, Miss.
Fourteen of 17 starters finished the race slowed by six cautions.
