Lucas earns $5,000 at Lucky 7 special
WHITESBURG, Ky. (Oct. 2) — Hometown driver Greg Lucas outran Josh McGuire of Grayson, Ky., on Saturday for a victory in the unsanctioned Coal Miners' Classic at Lucky 7 Speedway. Lucas earned $5,000 for the victory.
McGuire finished second at the first-year track in eastern Kentucky while Chris Combs of Isom, Ky., finished third. Paul Harris of Prestonsburg, Ky., and Brandon Fouts of Kite, Ky., rounded out the top five finishers.
