BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Oct. 8) — Bobby Hogge IV of Salinas, Calif., overtook Mike Johnson of Lompoc, Calif., late in the 30-lapper at Bakersfield Speedway to win the opening night feature of the 25th annual Budweiser Nationals.

Hogge earned $2,000 for the victory in the West Coast Late Model Shootout event at the third-mile oval in Bakersfield's big weekend of racing. | Slideshow
