BRUNSWICK, Ga. (Oct. 29-30) — Fast qualifier Dillon Wood of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., notched his biggest career victory by capturing the Showdown on the Coast at Golden Isles Speedway. Wood earned $7,500 for his third victory of the season on the Hedman Hedders National Late Model Series.

Tyler Ivey of Tallahassee, Fla., was second followed by Hunter Peacock of Macon, Ga. Shan Smith of Dade City, Fla., and Ryan Van Sickle of Jacksonville, Fla., rounded out the top five at the 4/10-mile oval
