Whitener tops UDLMCS foes at Waycross
WAYCROSS, Ga. (April 16) — Polesitter Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., raced to his ninth career United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory of his career and first of the season Saturday at Waycross Motor Speedway.
Whitener took the checkers ahead of fellow Floridians Darrell Padgett of Clay Hill and Tyler Ivey of Tallahassee. Scott Johnson was scheduled to start on the pole, but a broken rear end during hot laps prior to the feature ended his night.
