Lyons wins inaugural event for PCRA tour
BROWNSTOWN, Ill. (May 6) – Nick Lyons of Centralia, Ill., scored a $1,000 victory Friday night at Fayette County Speedway in the inaugural event for the Pro Crate Racers of America tour.
Tom Carson followed Lyons at the flagstand for a runner-up finish with Bobby Dauderman of Alhambra, Ill., in the third position. Mark Oller of Highland, Ill., finished fourth with Tait Davenport of West Paducah, Ky., rounding out the top five.
The Mark Voigt-promoted series is scheduled to return to action May 13-14 with a doubleheader weekend at Black River Raceway in Popular Bluff Mo. Both events will pay $1,000 to the winner.
