Carrier earns $3,000 at reopened Southern Ohio
WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (July 15) — Eddie Carrier Jr. ushered in a new era at Southern Ohio Speedway in style.
The Salt Rock, W.Va., driver earned $3,000 for his ADRA-sanctioned Southern Showdown victory as the 4/10-mile track reopened for the first time since 2003.
Carrier took the victory over fast qualifier Tim Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., while hometown driver R.J. Conley finished third on a night when 25 Super Late Models filled the pits. Kenneth Howell and Mark Frazier rounded out the top five.
