PONTOON BEACH, Ill. (Oct. 15) – Randy Korte of Highland, Ill., earned $2,500 Saturday night for winning a special event for UMP Pro Crate Late Models at Tri-city Speedway.
The second-starting Korte topped Scott Weber of Festus, Mo., who advanced from his ninth starting position to finish second. Steve Lance Jr. of Cuba, Ill., was third with Dustin Griffin of Camp Point, Ill., fourth and Bobby Dauderman of Alhambra, Ill., was fifth.
