Bishop scores first CLMA win at Caney Valley

CANEY, Kan. (Oct. 20) — Chance Bishop of Bartlesville, Okla., scored his first-ever victory on the Championship Late Model Association tour Saturday night at Caney Valley Speedway, earning $1,500 in the first round of Caney Valley Speedway’s two-race Oct-Topless weekend. | Slideshow
Bishop was followed at the finish by Justin Wells of Aurora, Mo., while Donnie Timmerman of Eldorado Springs, Kan., finished third ahead of Jimmy Seagraves of Furley, Kan., and CLMA points leader Garrett Alberson of Las Cruces, N.M.
Caney’s Oct-Topless doubleheader wraps up Sunday with a $1,500-to-win event. The race is the final event of the season for the CLMA tour.
