Lloyd edges Williams for North Florida victory

LAKE CITY, Fla. (May 3) — Ivedent Lloyd Jr. of Ocala, Fla., made his winning pass of Shane Williams DeLeon Spring, Fla., with just two laps remaining for a 40-lap United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory at North Florida Speedway. Lloyd earned $3,000 in picking up his second series victory of the season and denying Williams his second win. Russell Brown, Wayne Shugart and Johnny Collins rounded out the top five on a night when 40 Late Models entered the action on the first-year tour.
