Berck clicks off eighth SLMRS victory

HARLAN, Iowa (Aug. 31) — Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., notched his series-leading eighth victory of the season Saturday at Shelby County Speedway for a $1,000 triumph on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Series.
The series-leading Berck, who started fifth, took the checkers ahead of Bill Leighton Jr. of Omaha, Neb., and polesitter Corey Zeitner of Bellevue, Neb. Al Humphrey of Giltner, Neb., and Justin Gregg of Hastings, Neb., rounded out the top five. Track champion Barry Sorenson of Avoca, Iowa, was sixth.
