MODOC, S.C. (Oct. 19) — Brandon Umberger of Rural Retreat, Va., captured Saturday night’s Chuck Field Memorial at Modoc Speedway, earning a $4,600 victory in the unsanctioned Crate Late Model event. | Slideshow
Michael Brown of Pageland, S.C., finished second in the event, which drew 37 entries to the 4/10-mile oval near Augusta, Ga. Brandon Overton of Appling, Ga., was third with Brandon Carpenter of Harlem, Ga., and Brian Connor of Martinez, Ga., rounding out the top five.
