Notes: The race is the the most prestigious in Dirt Late Model racing and this year carries the sport’s richest purse after a boost of the 100-lap purse, up 22 percent from last year. … The race hasn’t had a back-to-back winner since Donnie Moran in 1996’-97. … Eldora is using the three-night racing format for the third year in a row. … Twin 25-lap features are set for Thursday and Friday nights with complete racing programs; a driver’s combined finishes set Saturday’s heat race lineups. … Saturday’s program is made up of six 15-lap heat races, two 20-lap consolation races and two consolation “scrambles” among drivers who fail to transfer from those consies. … The two provisional starters for the 100-lapper are the two fastest qualifiers failing to transfer through heats (row 10). ... The weekend’s announcers: Dustin Jarrett, James Essex, Shane Andrews and Ben Shelton. ... UMP DIRTcar points are awarded to all drivers throughout the weekend.
