Dates: Sept. 7-9 (Twin $10,000-to-win features Thursday; twin $10,000-to-win features Friday; and heats, consolations and $50,000-to-win main event Saturday). | Complete World 100 coverage
Track: Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio (high-banked half-mile clay oval).
Purse: $425,800 total purse includes $50,000 to 100-lap winner and at least $2,500 to all 30 starters.

Tickets: Thursday general admission $24 (12-and-under free); Friday $24 (12-and-under free); Saturday $40 ($12-and-under free). Add $4 for reserved seats (12-and-under reserved seats are $10 Thursday and Friday and $16 Saturday).
Pit passes: Thursday $29; Friday $29; Saturday $45 (three-day pit pass is $93; two-day pit-pass is $69).

Notes: The last nine World 100s have produced nine winners. … Last year’s event drew 108 entrants. … Jimmy Owens of Newport, Tenn., is the last repeat winner, picking up victories in 2007 and 2011. … There were 10 winners in the first 10 World 100s. … Larry Moore of Dayton, Ohio, was the first two-time winner, with victories in 1979 and 1981. Moore won again in 1985, becoming the event’s first three-time winner. … Led by the six World 100 victories by Billy Moyer of Batesville, Ark., seven drivers have won multiple globes. Donnie Moran and Scott Bloomquist have won four apiece. Other multiple winners: Jeff Purvis (three), Larry Moore (three), Brian Birkhofer (two) and Jimmy Owens (two). … Only three drivers have won back-to-back World 100s. Jeff Purvis (’83-’84) was the first to accomplish the feat. Billy Moyer (’93-’94) and Donnie Moran (’96-’97) are the other two. … To set Saturday’s heat race lineups, drivers earn points through their time trials, heats and features on Thursday and Friday; combined Thursday-Friday points determine Saturday’s heats. … Provisionals for Saturday’s 10th row will be based on those points rather than qualifying times. … The Eldora Speedway tire rule of no grooving, siping, needling or pinning is in effect throughout the weekend. Drivers are required to us a Hoosier LM 20 on the left front, right front and left rear. They may use an LM 20 or Hoosier LM 40 on the right rear. … Saturday’s program includes two consolation races along with two consolation “scrambles” among drivers who fail to transfer. … UMP DIRTcar points are awarded to all drivers throughout the weekend. … First-time World 100 entrants will vie for extra cash with the Shane Unger Memorial Rookies of the Race awards program. $5,000 is up for grabs. The award pays tribute to late Ohio driver Shane Unger, who died after an accident during last year’s World 100 preliminaries. … Eldora has hosted three Sunoco American Late Model Series races this season with Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, N.C., Casey Noonan of Sylvania, Ohio, and Billy Moyer of Batesville, Ark., earning victories.
