What won the race: Speeding by early leader Clint Keenan on the ninth lap, fourth-starting Josh Rice of Verona, Ky., led the rest of Saturday's 30-lap Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series feature at Atomic Speedway. Rice beat Colten Burdette to the checkers by 1.199 seconds for a $5,000 payday and his 17th career Iron-Man Series victory, further extending his lead on the tour's all-time wins list.

Key notes: Rice led the final 22 laps for his third victory of the season and his first away from Union, Ky.'s Florence Speedway, where he's collected more than $15,000 across two Northern Allstars Late Model Series triumphs. ... Rice recorded his first Iron-Man Series win since Oct. 5 at Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Ky., worth $10,000. ... Rice's triumph came after he clipped the wall the previous night at Rockcastle Speedway and ripped the entire nosepiece off his car. ... Sixth-starting Colten Burdette took second from R.J. Conley on a lap-17 restart and trailed Rice the rest of the way for his second runner-up finish series starts. ...
