What won the race: Home-track standout Dave Hess Jr. of Waterford, Pa., led all but two laps Sunday at Eriez Speedway to earn $4,100 in purse money at the unsanctioned Mike Farr Memorial for the second straight season. The third-starting Hess, who took the lead from Bump Hedman on the third of 41 laps, took the checkers ahead of fellow second-row starter Max Blair and Chub Frank at the 3/8-mile oval.
