Jeremy Steele celebrates a Turkey 100 triumph and CRUSA Series title.
What won the race: Pole-starting Jeremy Steele of York, S.C., led all but one circuit to win Saturday's 50-lap Rogers-Dabbs Crate Racin' USA Series-sanctioned 15th annual Turkey 100 at Swainsboro Raceway. Earning $10,000, a one-of-a-kind trophy and the 2025 CRUSA title, the 24-year-old beat a hard-charging Bubba Roling to the finish line by 0.286 of a second.
Quotable: “I love this race, I’ve been coming down here for probably five years now. I was lucky enough to win down here earlier this year,” Steele said. “I mean, this is by far the best year I’ve ever had in racing and it was the best way to cap it off. That’s the coolest trophy anybody will ever get to race for and I’ve been dying to have one on my shelf for years now.”
