What won the race: Polesitter Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Ga., led all the way for a $3,000 victory, taking the checkers ahead of a rallying Kennie Compton Jr. of Bland, Va.
Key notes: Compton closed to Roberts' back bumper with five laps remaining and dueled with the race-long leader until the finish, but his last-ditch effort came up short. ... Local ace David Payne overtook Shawn Chastain for third on the final lap. ... The feature was slowed by six cautions; action was slowed twice on the race's initial start and then again on laps 6, 12, 25 and 28. ... Andy Standridge scratched from the feature lineup. ...
