What won the race: Polesitter Greg Roberson of Waynesboro, Va., jumped to the lead at the drop of the green flag, leading the entire 30-lap distance for a $1,500 Steel Block Bandit victory, his second series triumph of the season.
Key notes: Friday's event was rescheduled for Sunday after a rainout. ... The race was slowed by three cautions. ... An early yellow flew for a turn-two tangle involving second-running Joe Leavell, Andy Fries, Rick Singleton and Kyle Lee; Singleton retired. ... Cody Lipscomb drew a second yellow when he hit the wall and slowed in turn four. ... A final yellow flew late-race for debris on the racing surface, setting up a battle for the lead. Second-running Robbie Emory challenged Roberson, but it wouldn't be enough as Roberson finished more than a carlength ahead at the checkers.
On the move: Denny Bonebrake of Hagerstown, Md., charged from the 16th starting spot to finish sixth.
Winner's sponsors: Roberson's MasterSbilt by Huey is sponsored by Advanced Plumbing, EDS and Buckshot Hill Farm.
Points chase: Entering the event, Andy Fries of Mercersburg, Pa., had 596 points over Denny Bonebrake (580) and Larry Ramsey (559).
