Justin Williams holds his $1,500 check for winning at Eastside Speedway.
What won the race: Third-starting Justin Williams of Shipman, Va., collected his first career Steel Block Bandits victory in the Raygan Batton Cancer Awareness Event, earning $1,500 for his efforts. Robbie Emory finished second while Andy Fries, who led the first half of the race, settled for third.
Key notes: An early red flag appeared when Daniel Snead got turned around in front of a pack of cars. ... Kris Holliday scratched from the main event. ... The tour made its fourth and final stop in Waynesboro. ... Saturday's race opened a two-race weekend for the Steel Block Bandits after Friday's stop at Natural Bridge (Va.) Speedway was pushed to Sunday afternoon. ... The event raised awareness for childhood cancer.
