Kyle Beard earned $6,000 at the All-American 60.
What won the race: Polesitter Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark., led all but one lap Saturday at Jackson Motor Speedway to earn his third Comp Cams Super Dirt Series win of the year and his third consecutive Wendy's All-American 60 victory. Beard's $6,000 triumph was the 23rd of his career with the CCSDS and he remained the tour's only repeat winner at Jackson.
Quotable: "I've always liked this track. I like coming here," a soft-spoken Beard said. "Yeah, I knew he (Chad Thrash) was back there. My guys was watching the whole time and I was doing pretty good on the bottom, but I knew I was gonna have to get up there (to the outside line). I guess I picked the right time."
Key notes: Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss., kept pace with Beard throughout the race but settled for the runner-up position. ... Morgan Bagley took advantage of a lap-50 restart to move up and finish third. ... B.J. Robinson advanced six positions and finished fourth. ... Brian Rickman finished fifth and clinched his first career Comp Cams Super Dirt Series championship. ... After running fifth for the majority of the race, Hunter Rasdon pitted for a tire change on lap 52 and could only recover to finish 11th. ... Neil Baggett led lap two before jumping the cushion and tagging the rear of the field. He pulled off on lap 14 and finished 19th. … Saturday's 11th annual All-American 60 feature marked the Comp Cams tour's first visit to Jackson Motor Speedway this season and the 10th in tour history. ... The feature was slowed by three cautions.
On the move: Jamie Burford of Keatchie, La., started 17th and finished 10th.
