What won the race: After leading the first 39 laps from the pole largely uncontested, Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., battled multiple challengers in the closing laps and led the final seven circuits Saturday at All-Tech Raceway, winning the $27,000 27th annual Powell Family Memorial presented by Bubba’s Site Prep. Joiner won his second five-figure payday with the Crate Racin' USA series at All-Tech after winning last year's $10,000 tour stop there.

Key notes: Fourteenth-starting Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., led lap 40 and then paced laps 48 through 56 before settling for the runner-up spot, 0.283 of a second back. ... Kyle Bronson of Brandon, Fla., led laps 57 through 60 before losing the lead to Joiner on the last restart and finishing third. ... Michael Page gained two spots and finished fourth. ... Sam Seawright finished seventh after winning the 20-lap non-qualifiers special and declining the $750 bonus. ... Saturday's feature, the Powell Family Memorial pays tribute to James Powell III, of Astor, Fla., a former driver who lost six family members in a plane crash nearly 30 years ago, was slowed by eight cautions and lasted 56 minutes, with 14 competitors completing all 67 laps.
