What won the race: Polesitter Brandon Overton of Evans, Ga., led all 20 laps Wednesday at Volusia Speedway Park to capture the last of three Triple 20 semifeatures on the Federated DIRTcar Nationals. Overton took the checkers 0.725 of a second ahead of younger brother Cody Overton, who came from the eighth spot for a runner-up finish. Garrett Alberson settled for third.
Quotable: "I looked up and I seen (No. 2 on the scorebard). I said, 'Damn, if he passes me, I'll never hear the end of it,' " Brandon Overton said of his brother Cody. "I felt like I went too hard early, honestly, probably hurt our tire a little bit. I was having a hard time staying in the bottom of (turns) one and two, but just glad to finally get one."
