What won the race: Surviving a mid-race spin, reigning series champion Kylan Garner of Neosho, Mo., earned $5,000 in outdueling Tyler Wolff in Nevada Speedway's Ron Bolin Sr. Memorial. Garner earned his first Nutrien Ag Revival Super Dirt Series victory of the season in taking the checkers 0.374 of a second ahead of polesitter Tyler Wolff, who threw everything he could at the winner.
Quotable: "A little bit of chaos and the cautions and all that. Organized chaos," Garner said describing the race. "But I had a heck of a race for Tyler Wolff. I thank him for racing me clean. Man, that was a lot of fun."
Key notes: Garner notched his third career victory on the second-year Revival tour. ... Frontrunners Garner and Tyler Wolff were in a feisty battle for the lead from laps 6-17 with both going around in a cloud of dust in turn two. Officials restored the drivers to the 1-2 positions for the lap-18 restart. ... Wolff won the tour's event the previous night at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. ... Besides the lap-18 caution (when Brandon Conkwright also retired with apparent mechanical problems), six cautions slowed the 30-lapper, the first when Glen Powell and Chris Hawkins tangled in turn two on the fifth lap. ... Tyler Kuykendall, who led the first four laps, retired with an apparent flat tire on a lap-five restart and retired. ... Jim Vanzandt was facing the wrong way in turn two on the eighth lap. ... A lap-19 caution appeared for Ryan Johnson; Johnson appeared to take the checkers in 15th place before being disqualified and credited with 22nd in the final rundown. ... Scott Crigler went around exiting turn four on the 20th lap. ... On the 21st lap, Crigler and Shane Cook got tangled and connected in turn two, requiring tedious wrecker work to separate the cars. ... The feature began at 10:50 p.m. and concluded at 11:35 p.m. ... Eight starters completed the distance with 10 running at the finish.
On the move: Andy Bryant of Fort Scott, Kan., rebounded from engine woes the previous night to start 12th and finish third.
