Slipping past Max Blair in lapped traffic, Brian Shirley of Chatham, Ill., took command at the flagstand on lap 32 and led the rest of Sunday's 40-lap DIRTcar Summer Nationals feature at Sycamore Speedway. The third-starting Shirley, a four-time tour champion, took the checkers 1.334 seconds ahead of Blair for his first tour victory of 2022.
