Kyle Hardy (99) chases winner Gregg Satterlee (22) at Hagerstown.
What won the race: Gregg Satterlee of Indiana, Pa., overcame a late restart and led all 35 laps largely unchallenged in dominating Sunday's Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series-sanctioned Frank Sagi Tribute at Hagerstown Speedway. Satterlee beat Kyle Hardy by 0.678 of a second for the $6,000 paycheck, his first ULMS victory of the season and 22nd of his career.
Key notes: Satterlee consistently led by more than two seconds before a last-lap caution drew his nearest challengers closer, but Satterlee survived the one-lap sprint for his eighth feature win of the season. ... His fourth career Frank Sagi Tribute (2021, '23, '25-'26) marks his first ULMS Series win since Sept. 21, 2024, at Latrobe (Pa.) Speedway. ... Satterlee secured his 15th career Hagerstown special since 2013, earning more than $80,000 over that span. ... Fourth-starting Kyle Hardy, Friday's ULMS winner at Path Valley Speedway in Spring Run, Pa., took second on the opening lap and trailed Satterlee all the way. ... Shawn Shoemaker finished third after a back-and-forth battle with 13th-starting Justin Weaver in the closing laps. ... Points leader Jon Lee climbed seven spots to complete the top-five finishers. ... The event honored Frank Sagi, the longtime track announcer of 39 years at the historic half-mile who acted as the voice at many tracks along the East Coast and began following his son, Alan Sagi’s racing career after retiring from announcing; Frank died April 24, 2012, at 78. ... The race was slowed four times, most notably when third-running Trever Feathers slowed for the third caution on lap 26. ... Eighth-running Kenny Moreland retired under the second yellow on lap 15. ... Tristin Neiderer was eliminated in the fourth and final stoppage on lap 27. ... The 35-lapper lasted 27 minutes with 20 starters completing the distance.
