What won the race: Dillon Brown of Gaffney, S.C., led all 30 laps and held off his brother Jacob Brown in winning Saturday's $4,000 eighth annual Phillip Knight Memorial at Lancaster Motor Speedway. Dillon overcame a green-white-checkered finish to beat Jacob by 1.202 seconds for his fourth Cagle Automotive Blue Ridge Outlaw Series victory of the season and fifth of his career.
Quotable: “We were really good tonight and finally (Jacob Brown and I) was able to finish one-two, we haven’t been able to do that. Seems like one of us runs good, the other one breaks or has problems. It was cool for us to be able to run one-two,” Dillon Brown said. “We tested Tuesday and found a lot of speed, that’s just a credit to my guys. I got a whole host of guys that’s willing to sacrifice, I mean it’s 2 a.m., willing to sacrifice their nights running up and down the road with me. I’m in as good of a place as I’ve ever been as far as technical help. I’m just very grateful, you don’t ever know when it’s gonna be your last one."
