The fourth-starting Wilson notched his first career Northern Allstars Late Model Series victory in taking the checkers 1.976 seconds ahead of JRR Motorsports teammate and early leader Justin Rattliff. Rice, who won his first Brownstown feature in May 31 Northern Allstars action, finished third at the quarter-mile oval.
Quotable: "This is awesome," Wilson said. "We've been struggling this year and I can't thank my guys enough for for never quitting on me and my awesome car owner James (Rattliff) and Justin, they, they give us everything we need to race and then some. We've flatout got our teeth kicked in this year and it's awesome to come home and race with them and to run first and second with Justin, and then I guess Jason (Jameson) got in there, too."
