Speedway owners, where the Show-Me 100 originated and was held annually from 1993-2009. … Thursday’s 45-lap, $10,000-to-win 13th annual Cowboy Classic feature was rain-postponed to Friday and will be completed after Friday’s originally scheduled program; the three-day program concludes with Saturday’s $75,000-to-win Show-Me 100. … Bobby Pierce won last year’s $75,000 Show-Me finale after also topping the event in 2017, worth $30,000. … Jonathan Davenport swept April’s Spring Nationals event there and enters with two career Show-Me 100 triumphs (2015, ’24). Fast qualifier Josh Rice won the first heat from the pole. ... Max Blair was scheduled to start outside the front row but was pushed pitside during pace laps after losing power; he rallied from the tail to fourth. ... Kolby Vanderbergh's car was damaged in an early scuffle. .. In the second heat, two-time track modified champion Dillon McCowan dominated. ... Ricky Thornton Jr. won a three-wide battle for second behind McCowan, taking the checkers as Brenden Smith banged into the rear of Thornton's car in finishing third, narrowly turning back Gordy Gundaker. ... In the third heat, early leader Garrett Alberson's car violently flipped between turns one and two; he climbed out apparently OK but a bit shaken up. Alberson cleared a concussion check but complain of leg soreness from banging it on the steering column. ... Tony Jackson Jr. went on to win the third heat. ... In the fourth heat, Jonathan Davenport led all the way while Brian Shirley spun out of sixth on the seventh lap. ...
