Key notes: The lone Coltman Farms Racing Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series standalone event of the season takes place in Saturday’s 30-lap, $5,000-to-win Steve Kincaid Memorial at 191 Speedway. … The event honors the late Kincaid, of Campton, Ky., a former truck driver and longtime crew member for Late Model racer Derek Fisher; Kincaid died on March 22, 2026, at the age of 50. … The Battle of the Bluegrass series sat dormant from 2009 until Fisher won both tour races last year, earning $5,000 at Mountain Motor Speedway in Isom, Ky., and $5,000 last July 4 at 191. … Fisher, of Olympia, Ky., has 10 major 191 wins since the fall of 2013, including four victories last year, earning more than $33,000 over that span. … Brandon Fouts of Kite, Ky., has three 191 specials since June of 2015, including two last year, combining for more than $13,000. … Shannon Thornsberry of Martin, Ky., earned unsanctioned victories there in 2013 and '24, worth nearly $10,000. … The night’s fast qualifier will receive a $246 award in memory of Dennis Selby; the three highest finishing drivers utilizing a Steel Block, CT525 or Crate engine will receive cash bonuses (1. $200; 2. $100; 3. $50). … Modifieds, sport mods, 4-cylinders and Crown Vics are on the undercard. … Gates open at noon and hillside parking opens at 2 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30.
