Highbanks Speedway. … Kip Hughes of Enid, Okla., who advanced from eighth to finish second in Friday’s opener, has four Dodge City specials since July of 2019, earning $7,000 over that span. … Delbert Smith of Wichita, Kan., grabbed a $1,200 victory there in June of 2011, co-sanctioned on the now-defunct Championship Dirt Motorsports and Midwest Dirt Late Model Series. … Tanner Mullens of Wichita, Kan., earned three Rebel Series victories there last year, but hasn’t competed in a Late Model since last Fourth of July at Enid (Okla.)
