Key notes: The Malvern Bank East Series invades Scotland County Speedway for the second time in Saturday’s 30-lap, $3,000-to-win main event. … It’s the second series race of the week after Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., led all 25 laps Wednesday night at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. … Dylan Thornton of Orcutt, Calif., outdueled Chad Simpson in winning last year’s $3,000 Malvern East debut at Scotland County, though he has been primarily focusing on Super Late Model competition this season. … There have been five winners through five races this season with points leader Blair Nothdurft, Jacob Hobscheidt and Charlie McKenna joining Pospisil and Simpson as winners thus far. … Stock cars, B-mods and hobby stocks are on the undercard. … Grandstands open at 5:30 p.m. with hot laps at 7. … Watch live on RaceON.
