Speedway; Voeltz died on Aug. 5, 2025, at the age of 78 after a two-year battle with cancer. … Cole Searing, Dyllan Ricks, Mike Greseth, Thomas Weisgram and Trevor Anderson won Friday’s heat races before rain hit and washed out the $2,500-to-win opener. … Searing, of Huron, S.D., topped June 5’s earlier Tri-State Series visit to Brown County. … Chad Becker has nine specials since 2017 at his home track, including 2020’s $10,000 Rumble finale, combining for more than $25,000 over that span. … Kent Arment of Aberdeen, S.D., has three WISSOTA Challenge Series victories there (2013, ’18-’19) to go along with 2021’s Big Buck Nationals, worth more than $9,000. … Josh Skorczewski topped a Northern Late Model Racing Association stop at his home track in 2024, earning $2,566. … Mike Stearns won last year’s Tri-State-sanctioned Rumble finale at his home track and the $5,000 top prize. … The feature’s halfway leader will receive $100 courtesy of Derek Hadrick and the driver who gains the most positions will receive $100 thanks to Casey Bossert. … Street stocks and legends are on the undercard. ...
