Rusty Schlenk celebrates his second Montpelier victory of the season.
What won the race: Third-starting Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio, took command from early leader Rod Conley on lap 12 and led the remainder of Saturday night's 30-lap Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series stop at Montpelier Speedway. Schlenk's $5,000 payday marks his second Iron-Man win of the season and his second Montpelier victory — April 12's Ultimate Heart of America Series season opener, also worth $5,000.
Key notes: Schlenk's earlier Iron-Man victory came in the May 2 season opener at Attica (Ohio) Raceway Park, worth $5,049. ...
